Well here we go again, another typo has made the news, Y-A-Y! Typos are inevitable and maybe its just me but it seems like they make the news a lot more. Maybe its our 24 hour nonstop news lifecycle? Maybe we just like to point out others mistakes? Mitt Romney's official iPhone app misspelled America. A embarrassing way to start a campaign.
Graphic Mistake case and point. If anyone is reading this blog ...HA!, you may have seen my blog post about the Word Series graphic mistake. Well here is another one that made news. Warner Bros. is releasing "The Great Gatsby" with Leonardo DiCaprio (Side Note: His best movie is still "The Basketball Diaries") and the trailer has a little tpyo... typo. Take a look, the billboard reads "Zeigfeld Follies". It's actually "Ziegfeld Follies". The typo is only onscreen for a moment, some Twitter users have been calling out the film for mucking up the name of such an entertainment classic. As a designer can assure you no one ever in tenses on making a mistake or typo but it happens. Where is the big deal with we sepll ...spell something right?..lol!
